This is a joint venture
company established by Ashapura Minechem Ltd. with AMCOL
Int. Corp. of USA for manufacturing bentonite and clay
based value added products in India.It has a state-of
the art bleaching earths manufacturing facility in Bhuj,
Gujarat in technological collaboration with Japan’s
Mizusawa Industrial Chemicals Limited. AVL is the only
company outside of Japan licensed to use the Galleon
brand of bleaching earth used worldwide to refine edible
oil . The company also has the reputation for being
the first Indian company to manufacture Geosynthetic
Clay liners in technological collaboration with Colloid
Environmental Technologies (CETCO) a subsidiary of AMCOL
and global leader in GCL technology.
